RAINPLUS

• Full-bore flow uses the pipe's entire cross-section, allowing smaller pipe sizes and shorter installation times than a gravity system.
• Horizontal pipe runs with no slope requirement reduce clashes with other building services and structures and add design flexibility.
• The very high flow velocity makes the system self-cleaning, and each roof outlet's leaf guard keeps debris out of the pipework.
• Roof outlets designed and tested to EN 1253-2 and ASME A112.6.9 prevent air entering the pipework and ensure stable operation.
• Fully recyclable PE-HD pipes and Green Building principles make rainwater harvesting and reuse easy, for irrigation or non-potable water tanks. RAINPLUS is Valsir's siphonic rainwater system for medium and large roofs. The vacuum created by the special roof outlets keeps the pipe in full-bore flow, so the whole cross-section is used and pipes run horizontally with no slope requirement. Full-bore flow allows smaller pipe sizes and fewer downpipes than a gravity system. Applications The system is designed for rainwater drainage of medium and large roofs such as logistics centres, stadiums and high-rise buildings. The roof outlets can be installed in gutters as well as on insulated, vapour-barrier and green roofs using dedicated installation kits.
