Water quality is the foundation of everything
Poor circulating water is the number one cause of falling efficiency, noise problems and premature equipment failure.
Sludge and corrosion
Dissolved oxygen and impurities generate sludge in the system, which blocks valves, radiators and heat exchangers and significantly reduces heat transfer.
The warranty can lapse
Many equipment manufacturers, heat pump suppliers among them, require the water quality to comply with the standards (VDI 2035 in particular) for the warranty to remain valid.
Insurance compensation falls with age
Compensation for a leak is reduced according to the age of the pipework: typically 25–30 % once the pipework is over 30–34 years old and 50–60 % once it is over 50 years old.
Clean first, then protect permanently
Elysator works in two stages: the minerals are removed from the water, after which four chemical-free protection mechanisms keep the circuit clean. The installation needs no electricity and the system is self-regulating.
